How versions work¶
A questionnaire is the set of questions your website asks. Each one has versions, and this is the part worth understanding properly.

- A version is either a Draft or Published.
- You edit drafts. Travellers only ever see a published version.
- The list shows each questionnaire's publish state and a widget key, the identifier your website uses to embed it.
Press New questionnaire, give it a name, and it opens on a fresh draft v1, marked "Not published yet — no traveller sees this questionnaire".
Five tabs run across the version:
| Tab | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Flow | The order questions are asked, and any conditions |
| Questions | The questions this version contains |
| Messages | The wording around the questions |
| Publish | Making the draft live |
| Preview | Trying it as a traveller would |
